The School of of Humanities and law has four first-level disciplines, including law, Public Administration, Sociology, Chinese Language and Literature, and four professional master of Agriculture (agricultural Management), Master of Social Work, Master of Law and Master of International Chinese Education. The four first-level disciplines all feature agriculture, highlighting the research areas of agricultural and rural rule of law, rural public affairs management, social policy and rural governance, and agricultural civilization in the Central Plains. In 2023, the discipline of sociology and public administration (jointly declared by the School of of Humanities and law and the School of Resources and Environment) was approved as a new round of provincial key disciplines in Henan Province. At present, various disciplines are being closely demonstrated to find the right entry point Point, actively integrate into the school double first-class discipline creation, promote the discipline construction to improve the quality and efficiency.
