The School of Marxism has a provincial-level key discipline of Marxist theory, under which there are five second level master's degree programs including the Basic Principles of Marxism, the Development History of Marxism, the study of Sinicization of Marxism, Ideological and Political Education, and Research on Basic Issues of Modern Chinese History. In 2020, it was approved for the construction of a first level discipline for doctoral degree authorization in Henan Province.
