The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering is the first multi-level engineering college of Henan Agricultural University with the right to award postdoctoral, doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees and professional master's degrees. The School has a Postdoctoral Research Station of Agricultural Engineering, doctoral and master's degree authorization points of the first-level discipline of agricultural engineering, and the right to award four professional master's degrees of energy power, transportation, machinery and electronic information. It has one key discipline of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Agricultural Bioenvironment and Energy Engineering and one key discipline of Henan Province Agricultural Engineering, among which the discipline of agricultural engineering was selected as the A-class construction project of Henan Provincial Characteristic Discipline Construction Project in 2015, the A-class construction sequence of Henan Provincial Characteristic Backbone Discipline Group in 2020, and the priority development discipline of the Ministry of Education in 2022.
