The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering has five departments, namely, Department of Agricultural Machinery, Department of Energy Engineering, Department of Traffic Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering and one Engineering Science Experimental Center. It has nine undergraduate programs, namely, Agricultural Mechanization and Automation, Agricultural Intelligent Equipment Engineering, Agricultural Building Environment and Energy Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, New Energy Science and Engineering, Transportation, Automotive Service Engineering, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation, and Electronic Information Engineering. Among them, Agricultural Building Environment and Energy Engineering is the first national first-class undergraduate major construction point and national featured major, Agricultural Mechanization and Automation is the national first-class undergraduate major construction point and featured major of Henan Province, Transportation is the first-class undergraduate major construction point and featured major of Henan Province, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation and Electronic Information Engineering are the first-class undergraduate major construction points of Henan Province.
