The college has established five research platforms at the provincial level, including the Henan Provincial Key Laboratory for the creation and application of new pesticides, the Henan Provincial Engineering Research Center for the Creation of Green Pesticides, the Henan Provincial Laboratory for Biological Control of Pests, the Henan Provincial International Joint Laboratory for Green Pest Control, and the Henan Provincial Engineering Research Center for Plant Health Protection Technology. In addition, it also has research platforms for monitoring, early warning, and control of agricultural harmful organisms, as well as institutes for fungal research, chemical ecology, and nanotechnology at Henan Agricultural University.
