The history of the School of Economics and Management dates back to the Department of Agricultural Economics of National Fifth Sun Yat-sen University in 1928. After the Restoration of the college entrance examination system, the first undergraduate students majoring in agricultural economic management were enrolled in 1981.In 1983, the Department of Agricultural Economics was established. In 1990, the right to award a master 's degree in agricultural economic management was obtained. In 1993, it was renamed as the School of Economics and Trade.In 2005, it was renamed as the School of Economics and Management.In 2006, it was awarded a doctor 's degree in agricultural economic management. In 2009, a post-doctoral research flow station for agricultural and forestry economic management was established. In 2017, the first enrollment of the Master of Accounting Degree ( MPAcc ) was approved. In 2021, the first-level subject of agricultural and forestry economic management was approved. At present, after forty years of accumulation, it has become a distinctive teaching and research college of Henan Agricultural University.
