Relying on the discipline of crop science, there are 17 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research platforms, including the Collaborative Innovation Center of Henan Grain Crops of the National 2011 Plan, the National Wheat Engineering Technology Research Center, the State Key Laboratory of Wheat and Maize Crop science co-constructed by the province and the ministry, and the Zhengzhou Branch of the National Maize Improvement Center. Among them, Collaborative Innovation Center of Henan Grain Crops is one of the first batch of 14 national level 2011 Plan Collaborative Innovation Centers recognized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.
