The college has seven provincial and ministerial research platforms, including the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Microbial Enzyme Engineering of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Henan Province Sweet Osmanthus Germplasm Innovation and Resource Utilization Engineering Research Center, the Henan Province Agricultural Biomass Utilization Engineering Technology Research Center, the Henan Province Biocatalysis and Biobased Products International Joint Laboratory, the Henan Province Organic Solid Waste Bioconversion Engineering Technology Research Center, the Henan Province Yellow River Basin Farmland Nitrogen and Phosphorus Loss Field Scientific Observation Research Station, and the Henan Province Microbial Fertilizer Engineering Technology Research Center. The college also has two education department platforms, including the Key Discipline Open Laboratory of Transgenic Plant Basic and Applied Research of Henan Province University Key Disciplines and the Key Discipline Open Laboratory of Agricultural Microbial Resource Development and Utilization of Henan Province University. In addition, the college has ten school-level research centers, including the Plant Gene Function Analysis and Metabolic Regulation Research Center, the Plant Resource Research Center, the Edible Fungi Engineering Technology Research Center, the Biobased Products Technology and Engineering Research Center, the Light Industry Technology Research Center, the Plant Cell and Chromosome Research Center, the Agricultural Virus Research Center, the Animal Gene Engineering Research Center, the Animal Resource Development and Application Research Center, and the Molecular and Genetic Research Center.
