From Aug 26 to Sept 5, 13 teachers and students ofRepin Academy of Fine Artsled by director of theForeignAffairsOffice, Konstankin Bekodov andthemeritorious artistofRussianFederation,professor Alexander Ivanovto visit our school.
During the activity, the teachers and students of theRepin Academy of Fine ArtsandAcademy of Forestryof our school wenttogetherto theShibanyanGrand Canyon in Linzhou to carry outlivesketches,observe and communicate skills with each other, and express their joyous emotions to the beautiful scenery through painting.Professor Alexander Ivanov and his party alsodisplayedthe portraitdemonstrationteaching to the teachers and students of our school, and made a special reportnamedContemporary Repin Academy of Fine Arts, whichpresented an art feast of vision and aesthetics with solid oil painting technique, skilled color application, and perfect composition layout. In addition, withContemporary Repin Academy of Fine Artsas the topic,Constankin Bekodov introduced the teaching modeland talent training program of Repin Academy of Fine Arts, providingarathergood reference for the relevantspecialityteaching of our school.
From Sept 4toSept5, teachers and students of the twosidesjointly held theAcademic Exchange andSketchExhibition of Repin Academy of Fine Arts and Henan Agricultural Universityat the Henan Provincial Art Museum. The vice principal,YangXitian attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition andmadea speech. He pointed out that thatthe exchange and learning betweenHenan Agricultural UniversityandRepin Academy of Fine Artsopened up a channel for close communication and learning, enablingteachers and students to broaden their horizonsand improve their levels, which wouldeffectively promote the deepening development of artspecialityin our school, as well as the in-depthexchange and cooperation between public art education and international education. He further expressed his expectationthat both sides would further strengthen communication and promote common development.

Repin Academy of Fine Artshas the full name ofSt. PetersburgState-owned RepinInstitute for Painting, Sculpture and Architecturesubordinated to Russian Academy of Art. It was initially established in 1757. Asthe famous art education institution in Russian and one of the four major art colleges in the world, ithas cultivated the world famous artists such as Ilya Repin and Vasily Surikov.
