On the morning of April 8th, Dr. Christopher Dunn, executive director of Cornell University Botanical Garden, visited HAU. Prof. Tu Ke, Director of the International Cooperation Division, and Zheng Dongfang, Party Secretary of the College of Forestry, met with the guests and participated in the academic symposium, which was also joined by a group of teachers from the College of Forestry.
Zheng Dongfang expressed sincere welcome to Dr. Dunn's visit and shared detailed briefings of the college and the program of landscape architecture.
Participants conducted in-depth exchanges around the cultivation history, variety diversity, cultivation physiology and biotechnology, cross breeding and botanical garden planning and garden design of the Central Plains Peony, and reached a preliminary consensus on strengthening the substantive cooperation between the College of Forestry and Cornell University Botanical Garden.
