Recently, HAU’s professor Zhang Longxian is invited by the editor in chief, Dr. Michelle Tibalens, to be the editor=-in-charge of Infection, Genetics and Evolution, dealing with the review and processing of papers about the inheritance and evolution of parasitic protozoa received by the journal. Prof. Zhang is mainly responsible for screening two independent paper reviewers and directly rejecting papers unsuitable for publishing.
Before becoming the editor-in-charge of this Journal, Prof. Zhang has already been invited to be the editorial board member of One Health and the review editor of Frontiers in Microbiology, both being internationally renowned publications. In addition to English journals, Zhang Longxian also serves as editorial board members of many famous journals in China, such as Chinese Journal of Veterinary Science, Chinese Veterinary Science, Chinese Journal of Animal Infectious Diseases, and Acta Parasitologica et Medica Entomogica Sinica.
As the leading scientist of the discipline of veterinary medicine in our University, Prof. Zhang has long been dedicated to the research of zoonotic intestinal parasitic diseases, and enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad in this field. At the same time, it also shows that our University has made remarkable achievements in international cooperation, scientific research and talent training .
