May 26 marked the release of the introduction list of 2021 higher-quality institutes of cultivating rural-vitalization talents and agricultural scientific research institutes, which included Henan Agricultural University. And this activity was co-hosted by Department of Science, Technology and Education of Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) and Department of Vocational and Adult Education of Minister of Education (MOE) in Jiangsu Province.
In 2020, MARA and MOE jointly developed the activity of higher-quality institutes to cultivate rural-vitalization talents and the introduction of agricultural scientific research institutes, which included 6 colleges and universities, 55 higher vocational colleges, 27 secondary vocational colleges and 3 research institutes finally.
The University will further explore the talent training mechanism which integrates agriculture, science and education, utilize their advantages, focus on rural talent for revitalization demand, and integrate the resources of technology and education, forming a technological talent training system that closely links to the industrial chain. And the University will optimize the structure of disciplines and majors, innovate the talent training mode, effectively build and use higher-quality institutes for talent training of rural revitalization, and actively play an exemplary and leading role to provide strong support for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating agricultural and rural modernization.
