On September 27th, the signing ceremony was held between Henan Agricultural University and Longping Biotechnology (Hainan) Co., Ltd. Professor Tang Jihua and Dr. Lu Yuping, representing their own parties, signed the cooperation agreement. Under the agreement, our University will receive 10 million RMB for R&D from Longping (Hainan) Bio. Ltd.， which marks a substantial phase of development in cooperation.
As contracted, HAU and Longping (Hainan) Bio. Ltd. will carry out collaborative projects for 10 years in a multi-level and all-round way by promoting the effective combination of production, education and research. Making full use of its advantages of R&D, talents and intelligence, the Agricultural College of HAU is to be dedicated to solve the bottlenecks of maize seed industry through conventional and biotechnology breeding methods, and seed companies will make the best of market promotion to enhance the influence and market share of new varieties.
