The Support-Xinjiang Expert Workstation of Henan Agricultural University was unveiled in Xinxing City, the 13th Division of Xinjiang Construction Corps, on September 28.
Diao Yuhua, deputy-director general and first levle counsel of the Education Department of Henan Province, and Yin Xinming, vice president of Henan Agricultural University, jointly unveiled the nameplate of the workstation.
Where the 13th Division of Xinjiang Construction Corps locates is the throat connecting Xinjiang and inland China and the transportation hub of the Eurasian continent. It is also a well-known land of melons and fruits. Yin Xinming pointed out that Henan Agricultural University would strive to develop the Support-Xinjiang Expert Workstation into a base that cultivates senior agricultural talents, fosters agricultural science and technology innovation, incubates agricultural high technology and promotes research on agricultural development strategies so as to provide strong intelligence and talent support to agricultural high-quality development and talent training in Xinjiang.
