On the morning of 22 March 2022, the unveiling ceremony was held for the second batch of provincial laboratories in Henan Province. Secretary of Provincial Committee of CPC, LouYangsheng attended and unveiled the plaque of Longhu Modern Immunology Laboratory, a lab led by Henan Agricultural University.
During the ceremony, academician Zhang Gaiping, director of Longhu Modern Immunology Laboratory, introduced the lab about its positioning, major science tasks and organizational structure and also shared his idea about its future development.
Longhu Modern Immunology Laboratory is the second provincial-level lab led by HAU, following the Shennong Laboratory co-led by HAU and Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. This project has been one of our continuous progress of building first-rate science and innovation platform. The establishment of the Longhu Laboratory will effectively promote HAU’s veterinary medicine being included in the "double world-class project”.
