On June 25, HAU held a ceremony to unveil the old school site of Henan Agricultural College in Kaifeng Yuwangtai Park and unveil the memorial stone. President of HAU Jiei Xiaolei, Honorary President of Kaifeng Alumni Association, former Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Henan University Wang Ling, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Labor Union of the university Li Chengwu, and Vice President Kang Xiangtao attended the event. Representatives from Social Service Office, Alumni Liaison Office, International Education College and Kaifeng Alumni attended the event. Li Chengwu hosted the event.
Jie Xiaolei and Kang Xiangtao unveiled the plaque for the former site of Henan Agricultural College - a municipal cultural relics protection unit. Jie Xiaolei, Wang Ling, Li Chengwu, Kang Xiangtao and alumni representatives Wang Chengfa, Jiang Huiyong unveiled a memorial stone for the former site of Henan Agricultural College.
After the founding of PRC, the original site of Henan University Agricultural College: Ganheyan, Pota Temple and Experimental Farm in Kaifeng were expropriated respectively. In May 1950, the College of Agriculture was moved to Yuwangtai, Kaifeng, and in 1952, during the restructuring of the faculties of higher education in China, the College of Agriculture was established independently, and Henan Agricultural College was founded in Yuwangtai. In 1957, the school was moved from Yuwangtai, Kaifeng, to the site of Culture Road, Zhengzhou, and continued to operate.
