On the morning of August 23rd, with the order of Wei Mengguan, Secretary of the Party Committee of HAU, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of Chunlei Kindergarten in Zhengdong New District, a project jointly built by HAU and Zhengdong New District Management Committee, which can effectively solve the problem of "difficult access to kindergarten" for the young employees. Wei Mengguan, Jie Xiaolei, Shang Fude and Lin Tongbao, leaders of the university, Li Qiuhong, deputy director of Zhengdong New District Management Committee, Zhang Ligang of the Bureau of Education, Culture and Sports, Xiao Huizuo, secretary of the Party Committee of Longzihu Office, and Yan Wenbin, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the Board of Directors of Zhengzhou Zhengdong New District Construction and Development Investment Corporation, attended the ceremony. The school relevant staff, representatives of the project and supervisors attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
On behalf of Zhengdong New District Management Committee, Li Qiuhong congratulated the new kindergarten in Longzihu Campus of HAU. She pointed out that the construction of Chunlei Kindergarten is of great significance to improve the school conditions in the East District, integrate educational resources and optimize the school layout, which will help improve the overall arragement of preschool institutions in Zhengdong New District and alleviate the problems of the surrounding faculty and staff who find it difficult and far to enter the kindergarten. Next, Zhengdong New District Management Committee will spare no effort to support the project, according to the actual needs of the project, open a green channel, strengthen the work of guidance, and lay a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the project.
President Jie Xiaolei said that the construction of the Chunlei Kindergarten project in Zhengdong New District is an important progress made under the support of Zhengdong New District Management Committee, and is the eager expectation of the young teachers of HAU. He asked the relevant units to carefully organize and closely cooperate with each other to build the kindergarten according to the requirements of provincial model kindergartens, with high starting point and high standard, and to complete the construction task on time and with quality.
Zhengdong New District Chunlei Kindergarten is located in the northeast corner of the Longzi Lake Campus of HAU in the Longzi Lake area of Zhengdong New District, adjacent to Chunhua Street in the west and Wenyuan North Road in the north. The total construction area of the project is 13,104.66 square meters, of which 8,371.40 square meters is above ground and 4,733.26 square meters is underground, with scientific design, advanced concept, beautiful environment, reasonable layout, great facilities, and complete functions. The project is an inclusive livelihood project jointly built by Henan Agricultural University and Zhengdong New District, and will provide 450 admissions, effectively alleviating the difficulty of enrolling preschool-age children of young faculty and staff in the surrounding area.
