On the morning of August 20, HAU held a meeting with the U.S.-China Business and Cultural Exchange Center at Longzi Lake Campus to discuss the expansion of international exchange and cooperation channels, the declaration of new Sino-foreign cooperative school projects and the joint training of graduate students with well-known U.S. universities. President Jie Xiaolei, Vice President Lin Tongbao, President Liu Wen of the U.S.-China Business and Cultural Exchange Center, and Director Bai Ru of the International Department attended the meeting. The person in charge of International Exchange and Cooperation Office and International Education College attended the meeting.
Jie Xiaolei reviewed the history of the university and analyzed the problems faced by the international development and Sino-foreign cooperation programs at this stage. He pointed out that he hoped the U.S.-China Business and Cultural Exchange Center could build a bridge of in-depth cooperation between HAU and famous universities in the U.S. by its own resource advantages and around the advantageous disciplines of HAU. He stressed that the introduction of foreign high-quality courses is of great significance to the international development of the university, and hoped that both sides could further innovate the cooperation mode on the basis of the memorandum of understanding signed in 2021 and jointly build a diversified education cooperation and exchange mechanism.
