Recently, the China Association of Higher Education announced the list of universities participating in the China-Arab 10+10 Cooperation Plan. HAU was selected as a member university in the agricultural development sector of this cooperation plan.
It is reported that the China-Arab 10+10 Cooperation Plan is a special program launched based on the Eight Major Actions for China-Arab Practical Cooperation proposed by President Xi Jinping at the First China-Arab States Summit in Riyadh, focusing on the joint action for youth development. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, the China Association of Higher Education and the Association of Arab Universities jointly established the China-Arab University Alliance exchange mechanism, providing a platform for inter-school exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Arab universities to promote the common development of higher education in China and the Arab world. The cooperation plan focuses on multiple fields such as information communication, agricultural development, health, green innovation, energy transformation, dialogue among civilizations, youth development, public policy, aerospace, and trade and investment, establishing ten clusters of university cooperation. The aim is to strengthen cooperation between Chinese and Arab universities within these clusters and jointly promote the development of both parties in the aforementioned fields. Our university's outstanding strength and rich experience in the agricultural field led to its successful selection.
This selection marks an important step for HAU in promoting educational cooperation between China and Arab countries and advancing knowledge exchange and cooperation in the agricultural field.
