On August 23, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the results of its 2024 centralized project evaluation. This year, our university secured approval for 84 projects, with direct funding totaling 33.47 million yuan, marking a new record high in project approvals. Professor Li Wenting from the College of Animal Science received funding from the Excellent Young Scientists Fund, achieving a historic breakthrough for our university in this prestigious category of the National Natural Science Foundation projects.
